Hi everyone!
Winter is just around the corner and though it may bring crisp mornings, snow and of course Christmas, but it also brings dry skin the oddest places. Every winter my skin seems to get so so so dry since to harsh winds and temperature change!
I find that the best way to get rid of dry skin is to use a body scrub & especially a delicious smelling one! I find it hard to find a good scrub that smells & does good, so why not make one with a scent that suits you! This scrub is gorgeous and has done wonders to my skin, so with that being said, lets get into the DIY.

What You'll Need:
- white sugar
- coconut or baby oil
- vanilla extract
- bowl
- jar or pot for storage
Step 1:
Take 5 tablespoons of your white sugar. This will act as your exfoliator for the scrub with will remove the dry skin. The sugar will dissolve easily when you're using it in the bath or shower so you won't have any residue left over in your bath!
Step 2:
Next, add 3 teaspoons of your oil. Obviously the title is a coconut & vanilla scrub, but you can just add baby oil. This will add & retain moisture after use.
Step 3:
Finally, add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. This just adds in the main scent of this scrub & who doesn't love vanilla?!
Step 4:
Mix together all the ingredients in your bowl. The mixture will be quite powdery but that won't change if you add more oil or not. If it crumbles apart that is the best consistency for the scrub! Once you have combined the ingredients you can spoon them into your jar and then its ready to use!
And there we go! This is one of the first winter DIYs that help our skin throughout the winter. I hope you give this one a try as its one of my favourites exfoliators to use!
