Hi everyone!
Seems like ages since I've tried a hairstyle to do overnight! This one is a little bit different, and if you're going to do this hairstyle - I suggest you don't pull the twists too tight (for looser results!) So all you need to get ready is 3/4 dry hair and two hair bands. Lets begin!
Seems like ages since I've tried a hairstyle to do overnight! This one is a little bit different, and if you're going to do this hairstyle - I suggest you don't pull the twists too tight (for looser results!) So all you need to get ready is 3/4 dry hair and two hair bands. Lets begin!
You could either do this method with freshly washed hair which has air dried until slightly damp. Or if you're like me and incredibly lazy to wash my hair that evening - grab your spray bottle and dampen your hair throughout!
1. Firstly, split your hair into two sections (left and right.) On you chosen side, take a top section/layer. The easiest way to explain this is to take a chunk of hair at the front of your head (could be a fringe, bangs etc.)
2. With your section at the front & top of your hair, split it into two sections.
3. Twist the two sections around each other twice.
4. On the third twist, add more hair to the bottom section of hair. This will ensure every piece of hair will be a part of the curls and there will be no awkward straight bits!
5. Keep going!
6. Once you have reached just below your ear lobe, with all the hair begin to twist normally in one direction.
7. When you've twisted all the hair, wrap it around itself to make a bun and secure it with a hair band. This will also make the ends of your hair be curled as well!
And then take them out in the morning! Mine turned out way too tight on the first try - so when wrapping the hair I suggest doing it quite loose. Let me know if you've tried this or have any other methods which you think work!
